About

"Love is the only thing that matters" - St. Therese of Lisieux

Martin Leung-Wai is first and foremost a child of God.

An artist, designer, an aspiring architect and an ongoing learner passionate about the faith in Jesus Christ and stewardship (kaitiaki).

One of the quotes he is inspired by is from St. Francis of Assisi:

"He who works with his hands is a labourer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands, head, and heart is an artist." - St. Francis of Assisi

About

+ Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam

"Love is the only thing that matters" - St. Therese of Lisieux

My name is Martin Leung-Wai, a child of God, an artist, designer, and an aspiring architect who aims to share the truth, goodness, and beauty of faith through creative works that enrich homes and inspire families for the glory of God.

My mission is to be a faithful steward, sharing the love and mercy of God through creative works such as art, design, and architecture, all for His glory.

As St. Francis of Assisi reminds us, “He who works with his hands is a laborer. He who works with his hands and his head is a craftsman. He who works with his hands, head, and heart is an artist.” This reminds me of how an artist ought to live—fully for God’s glory, offering praise and thanksgiving wholeheartedly, with mind, soul, and strength in love for God.

I am also inspired by the words of Benedict XVI:
“Dear friends, thank you for your presence here today. Let the beauty that you express by your God-given talents always direct the hearts of others to glorify the Creator, the source of all that is good. God’s blessings upon you all!”

“Art is capable of making visible our need to go beyond what we see, and it reveals our thirst for infinite beauty, for God. Dear friends, I invite you to be open to beauty and to allow it to move you to prayer and praise of the Lord.”

I also draw inspiration from St. John Paul II:
“Artists of the world, may your many different paths all lead to that infinite Ocean of beauty where wonder becomes awe, exhilaration, and unspeakable joy. May you be guided and inspired by the mystery of the Risen Christ, whom the Church in these days contemplates with joy. May the Blessed Virgin Mary be with you always: she is the 'tota pulchra' portrayed by countless artists, whom Dante contemplates among the splendors of Paradise as ‘beauty that was joy in the eyes of all the other saints.’”

Thank you for visiting Martin LW!

I hope you enjoy your time seeking what you ought to seek.

May you find inspiration and joy in your own journey of faith.

Take care, and may God be with you.
