"His Love - Daisy" shows God's enduring love for us. Because God loved us first, we should offer Him thanks. He created us in His image and likeness, redeemed us through His Son Jesus, and sanctifies us with His Holy Spirit.
I found this tiny daisy growing in the grass of the backyard, which inspired this artwork. The daisy is digitally painted using Photoshop and a Wacom tablet.
Around the end of the fifteenth century, daisies appeared in artworks, such as adoration paintings, symbolizing the innocence of the Christ Child due to their simple beauty. This symbolism is also reflected in St. Faustina's diary, where the flower represents God's love. It reminds us to be grateful for God's love, to continually receive it with an open heart and mind, and to follow His will.
